NEW YEAR’S EVE IN VEGAS WILL BE … WELL, YOU KNOW …

OK, we know there are, according to some estimates, 58,4352,967* parties happening in Vegas on New Year’s Eve. But your friends at DailyFiasco are going to try and break it down for you, dishing on the best parties in town. Oh, sure, this a somewhat-biased post, because we’re about to persuade you to visit the most popular spots that we know people at, and prefer to suck up to. Got a problem with that? Didn’t think so. Just scroll down and play pick-a-party (or two, or four) to round out your Dec. 31 festivities:
LAX: The Hilton sisters will raise their champagne flutes (and if you’re lucky, skirts) and toast LAX patrons to an unpredictable new year at the Luxor’s newest hot spot. Tickets are $278.88 and doors open at 10 p.m.
THE PALMS: Catch Dave Navarro at Rain ($125 per ticket), Jaime Pressly at Moon ($200 per ticket) or for $150, a performance by Kanye West at the Pearl. Damn, that’s a hot mess waiting to happen. A pricey one.
PURE: Host Pamela Anderson will show up to this Caesars Palace megaclub in her boots with the fuuurrrr…sorry, Flo Rida is playing on the Fiasco office radio. General admission will cost you $250.
WYNN LAS VEGAS: At Blush, celebrate the New Year with “Five Diamonds Are Forever,” an upscale, James Bond-themed party. Open bar is 9-11 p.m. Ladies get in for $100 and men, sorry, you’ll shell out $200. Alternately, join fellow posh patrons in the sexy Tryst nightclub. Call 702-770-7113 for ticket info.
HARD ROCK HOTEL: Rock out with 3 Doors Down ($86.50) at The Joint or get your teenybop on with Backstreet Boys ($200) at Body English.
RUMJUNGLE: Countdown to midnight with 2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Underwood at the Mandalay Bay’s fire-filled club. Tickets are $75-100, or $200 for the VIP treatment. DJ cb shaw will be spinning you into 2008.
TAO: Songbird (or is that butterfly?) Mariah Carey will ring in 2008 hosting a bash inside the Venetian’s two-story nightlife complex. Tickets are $200.
TANGERINE: Join Brit’s baby daddy, Kevin Federline, in drunken merriment for the New Year before Treasure Island’s waterside club closes for remodeling. $100 for general admission, or $1200-1950 for a table package.
RIO HOTEL: Party 51 stories above the new year madness at VooDoo Lounge for $200, or attend “The Emerald Dream Ball,” hosted by fashion designer Lana Fuchs and the Emerald Dream Team. This black-tie event will pay tribute to breast cancer survivors. The $1000 VIP tickets include premium seating and gift bags. General entry is $750.
MGM GRAND: Celebrate New Year’s Eve Studio 54 style with a gala party, featuring champagne from 9 p.m. - midnight and an open bar from 9 - 11 p.m. $200 in advance or $250 at the door. Or check out Sugar Ray’s DJ Homicide spinning at Tabú’s “Naughty New Year’s Eve” party. Call 702-891-7183 for ticket information
JET: The James Bond themes are rampant this year. At the Mirage’s three-roomed nightclub, it’s a “008″ New Year’s Eve party, featuring VJ Roonie G and an open bar from 9 - 11 p.m., sponsored by Belvedere Vodka and Dom Perignon. General admission is $200.
POLLY ESTHER’S: Enjoy affordable bottle service, a special DJ line up and a $5,000 balloon drop. Drop $100 at the door and indulge in a free buffet and happy hour from 9-11 p.m.
*OK, so we made that number up. Get over it.
